OK so I thought last week was cold.  This weekend we had temperatures of minus 48 degrees celsius, before wind chill.  Apparently the coldest place in Canada this weekend but I'd be willing to bet it was pretty close to the coldest place in the world.  On my way out to get more firewood .

I'm thinking about starting a new project.  It's another book that the author of Angel Skies has written.  It is about a beautiful sunflower that is so loved that the gardener has to build a fence around her to protect her.  She is overwhelmed by the crowds and her responsibilities and made lonely by her protective fence and station in life.  A goose eventually saves her from her situation.  It is very beautiful and evokes strong beautiful images.  The challenge will be making the sunflower interesting in every illustration as she is on almost every page.  I've started experimenting with it but haven't decided on whether to commit that kind o

Hospital visit went great.  We drew quite the crowd.  Whimsy did very well for never being inside a building before.  She found the floor slippery and wheelchairs a little scary.  She visited everyone but viewed the cooking staff with caution (as every smart lamb should).  I sold a bunch of stuff too (although that wasn't my intention).  They asked me to bring things along to show the residents and being as these people never get to go shopping they were happy shopping came to them. Next time I will bring the bunny.
